Ah yes, it’s our first wedding anniversary. Time flies!
We worked like usual today until the creative-block came this afternoon, and we decided to go for a walk to freshen up this mind. Off we went to Mutiara Damansara; there is Tesco, The Curve, Ikano, Ikea, e-Curve; with Ikea as our main destination. No doubt, Ikea is like a storehouse of idea and creativity, also problem solving.
After pampering our eyes and brains at Ikea, we walked around the shopping malls for nfl t shirts and the geeky lovely hubby came up with an impulsive thought of purchasing a compact digicam for me. Oh my, it’s in my wishlist already ever since we switched to the bulky Nikon DSLR – I love it, just that it’s not so convenient to bring it out everyday.
Anyway I was very firm to have Canon so we settled for this IXUS 105, RM765 (from original price RM799), though we thought we saw somewhere sold it at RM699 but couldn’t recall the IXUS series. At such a price, the digicam’s physical quality is quite far from the oldie IXUS 40 (my very first digicam) and IXUS 870 IS (my second digicam).
The digicam looks OK as a whole. But when I hold it, the feel of the surface is different and the battery + card lid looks so fragile like kiddo plastic toy. There goes the elegant image of IXUS on my eyes. Kinda disappointed, but well it’s for snap and shot only. Can’t be asking that much.
Next, we had our anniversary dinner at Waroeng Penyet at The Curve, where we got our share of stomach-ache. No kidding. Hubby felt something wrong with his stomach first on the way back home. Few hours after that, my stomach started to give reaction. At that time, we were sure to say the culprit is the sambal belacan (chili) from the Waroeng Penyet cause we basically eat the same thing. -__-”
I suppose the only trust-able and rather clean outlet to have Ayam Penyet is the Ayam Penyet Ria’s branch at Sunway Pyramid there.
That’s all with our first wedding-versary, a day where we have the excuse to pamper ourselves. ![]()
