Spot our Lego
We (the boyfriend, bro and I) participated in the Lego Milipede charity activity at Sun Plaza last week. We managed to finish building the Lego in 1 hour plus time. The staff informed us that Sunday 13th July is the closing ceremony day and our milipede will be exhibited at the main atrium.
Since we have nothing to do on the weekend, we headed off to Sun Plaza for dating and also checking out the Lego.
There were so many part of Lego exhibited there, took almost half of the main atrium. But I expected to see more than that actually.
It wasn’t hard to find ours, red color with initial PK there. We noticed that they have changed the upper part to white color. Probably because our arrangement was oh-so-bad. ![]()
Fun with Lego on Monday
I have seen the Lego Milipede charity activity at main atrium - Sun Plaza on last week. It started from 26 June to 16 July. The message in the flyer goes like this:
“Join us in building the first LEGO Milipede ever built in Medan! Have fun building with the whole family and help to raise funds for Children’s Charity! 100% of participation and donations will go towards the child development programmes at Yayasan Abdi Kasih.”
Participation fee is at IDR.10.000 for 30 minutes play. It seems to be interesting. When we went there this afternoon, we decided to spend our 30 minutes in the LEGO world. We were given a mat for the foundation and a paper with instruction on how to build the milipede.
30 minutes went so fast and we still haven’t finish building the milipede. We could leave though, but I wanted to finish it. So we added another 30 minutes.
We were almost finished by then and were given another 10 minutes to finish the whole thing. It was fun and exciting although our thumb and index fingers were in pain (for pressing the Lego part) after that.
We had our name on it, minus my brother’s name. Side note, the boyfriend has just cut his hair real short. Most of my family members; from mom to auntie, from brother to grandma; asked him of why he cut it so short, whether he had a hair problem or what, and so on. They even gave the idea of hair transplant cost for us. But I like his hair now. We will put aside the hair transplant idea.
Well, 60 minutes of playing LEGO, IDR.60.000 for 3 people and it is for charity, what is more great than this? ![]()
