A good news (for me). One of our (boyfriend & I) free scrapbook-based themes;Brown Stitch theme; goes in the Round 7 of WordPress-theme-design-contest-by-Lunarpages~! It is now battling with the other 4 wordpress themes.

So now I am asking for support from all of my readers. *Please, tell me that I do have readers*

My Dad went out to meet his friends last night for a business talk. In the end of the day, he got the business but he lost the left-side-mirror of the 6 weeks old car. -__-”

He parked the car at a quite crowded place but it couldn’t stop the thief from stealing the side mirror. wtf. He even had the plate number printed on the mirror but it couldn’t prevent the thief from stealing it. Perhaps it’s time to get a full car insurance besides term life insurance quotes. It seems to be a very clean work. No major ‘scar’ was seen around the side mirror area. *two thumbs up for the thief*

I’ve submitted Floral Day theme, my first attempt to design a scrapbook theme, coding by the boyfriend. It is now ready to compete with the other four themes on Round 4.

After Entrecard theme, SimplyWP came out with a totally different theme which called Floral Day (I’m not good in naming), a scrapbook theme. It’s a free wordpress theme anyway.

It was my first attempt to design a theme with scrapbook material. Much thanks to Shabby Princess for the materials. I like handmade stuff very much and start to have interest in scrapbook not long ago.

The ‘poem’ man (the boyfriend) said,”Why do you like to do weird theme that is not easy to code?” That’s the problem when you know how to design but have no idea about coding, which in the end will make the coding man wants to bang his head to the Macbook. But, he managed to code it and the theme works well in IE7, Firefox 3 and Safari.

Few days ago when I was chatting with the boyfriend, suddenly he said that he wanted to create an entrecard theme for wordpress. Oh well, we’ve seen wordpress admin theme, facebook theme, digg theme, so why not entrecard?

And, here it is, Entrecard theme from SimplyWP. It is tested on IE7, Firefox 3, and Safari.

Last night when my mum read the newspaper, she saw the black out announcement from PLN. It was said that the black out will start today from 8am to 4pm and our housing area was in the list too. So, learning from the quote – prepare umbrella before raining, I quickly finish my work last night, woke up early since I couldn’t sleep also, checked my email early morning, turned off my computer after that and watched morning news on TV.

Wait and wait. It was 8.05am and nothing happened. Still waiting. 8.30am, nothing happened also. Bah. Don’t care, let’s just turn on the computer and continue doing my work. I’m ready to click CTRL + S every single seconds in case the black out happens anytime.

Anyway, there is a more exciting weekend news. SimplyWP has launched its first free wordpress theme – Starlite Diva! Head off to SimplyWP for the theme’s demo and download. More wp themes will come later.
