I had my hair cut again this afternoon since Chinese New Year is about 2 weeks away only. I know, my hair was still short and still looked good. Besdies that, the last hair cut was on November. But, people says, new year new clothes, new bag, new shoes, new pants, new underwear, new bra, including new hair. So, there I went for a hair cut which costs me IDR.280.000.

Good news

Boyfriend got the job! Yay! Never mind the job is not in Singapore but the black hall. What important is, he is employed which means fixed income and many more to go.

Bad news

Brother had an incident during the sport lesson at school this morning. The bone of his right arm was broken and operation will be done tonight. Still waiting for the doctor to finish another operation. Sigh. This is not a good news, but thanks G he is a left handed and not right handed. See the bright side.

Ranting

Hah! I can’t hold this feeling anymore. It was about to explode. I know, I am an outsider and I shouldn’t go into this matter as boyfriend is the one whom is working with them. But whatever, I am just going to express what I see and feel. My point of view, that’s it.

I truly respect that company and the people there. But I have started to lose that ever since they changed their staffs. Those young people seems to have a problem with their working attitude. What with last minute work all the time? They really think boyfriend is a SUPERMAN whom doesn’t have life, no need drink, eat, sleep, no other work to do, 24 hour stand by for them? Hello, freelance doesn’t mean very FREE one, okay?

Sometimes I really think that they have taken him for granted. Probably thinking,”Ah, nevermind, he works so fast, let’s slowly do and spend more time on the design part, marketing plan, whatsoever.” Else, how come there is always last minute work?

Or they thought web-coding is like photostating is it? Just click a button and the pdf file will turn into a website, pages, etc in a blink of eyes. Heck, they don’t know that it takes time and it is frustrating to have someone, whom has no coding and web related background, to do web-design.

Now, this people needs to learn time management and to start thinking about others (put themselves in other people shoes). Until then, I hope they will stuck in their position forever and ever. Dammit. My anger has reached the max point.

Finish my rant.

I have my bob hair for a good 15 months already. It’s been 4 months since the last hair cut, which was on last February, few days before Chinese New Year. It looked kinda messy and out of the shape now. I decided to have a hair cut today. Then the dilemma came. Should I have short bob hairstyle again or other style to grow it long?

Let’s see why I like bob hair. It is easy to blow dry and style. I won’t feel so hot with such a short hair in such a hot weather. My hair doesn’t fall off that much compare to the time when I had a long hair. People says I looks younger, forever seventeen. But, I was quite bore of the look. Besides that, it is the market demand – wanting me to have long hair. Macam betul aja.

Pfiuh. It was a tough decision. However, I have decided to leave the era of bob hair and welcoming the era of medium or even long hair. I know, it’s gonna be a hard time while growing from a short hair to a shoulder length hair. Never mind, let it be hard at the beginning but sweet at the end.

So, I reserved a place at Kie Kie saloon for this afternoon. Yes, it is not first come first serve, reservation is needed for hair cut service. I am glad that I am freelancing now, I can go there anytime I want, even on the weekday. Else, I will need to wait until weekend, which is extremely crowded. It is closed on Sunday though.

I’ve went there to had my hair cut since senior high school. It is a good 6 years. In between that, I had tried other saloons that is cheaper than Kie Kie, both in Medan and KL, but none suits me. In this case, price determines the quality. Really. Cheapo saloons that charge half price or quarter price from KieKie (IDR.60.000-100.000) had a lower quality too, from the way they wash my hair to blow hair to cut hair. Oh my..

Besides that, the hair cut from Kie Kie can last long. Even after a few months, the hair style / look is still there. Bottom line is, I can wear a no branded clothes but I cannot risk having my hair cut at a not well known / new saloon. I am extremely sensitive when it comes to hair.

The price for wash + cut + blow is at IDR.220.000. Most of the customers will give the staffs some tips, at least IDR.5.000. I think I was the stingy and only customer who gave a big egg (read: zero) to them. Well, the staff did massaged my hand and even introduced Kerastase tonic at IDR.250.000, cause I have a hair loss problem.

But it turn into a minus point because she kept on persuaded me to buy. Oi, lau niang only brought enough money for the hair cut and transport, no credit card or debit card to use also, how to buy? Other than that, she did the most common mistake in washing hair. The water from the shower kept on ‘jumping’ to my face. I wanna wash hair not face~! -___-”
