Feature Portfolio
Feel free to browse through my portfolio, which contains selection of works that I did under simplyWP (for web design) and during the early freelancing period (for print graphic design). Girly chic is my design style, though I'm flexible most of the time.

Looking for contest’s sponsors
All the while I’ve been joining contests online and I even create a contest blog at Blogger to join the contests.
Now, I think it’s time for me to give back to the readers. I’m going to hold a contest at SimplyWP on next week.
I’m welcoming any sponsorship for this contest. You can sponsor Entrecard credits, ad spots, review, Paypal money, and other stuffs that you find it’s good enough to be given as prizes.
Feel free to contact me if you want to sponsor this contest. In return, you’ll get linkage from my blog and also the participants.
I will post the update of sponsor lists on 27th October (Monday) and will contact Rose from Entrecard about this contest after that. I plan to run the contest on 28th October (Tuesday) 30th October 2008.
Update on Oct 27th:

And, still open to receive sponsorship (Entrecard credits, ad spot, link ads, review, paypal $, etc).
New scrapbook theme for your blog

I’ve just released a free 3 columns scrapbook theme for WordPress at SimplyWP.
It’s a blueish theme with a cute female sheep as the main cast for MsSheepy. How do we know it is a female sheep? The long eyelashes says it.

I’ve developed my love towards blue color and might use it for my other blog.

My previous pinkie theme. The girl’s illustration is an istock image. I modified it to suit myself.
Ah yes, I’m getting bore with the previous pinkie theme and my sidebars seems to be so messy. So, I decided to have a blog make-over again! It was scheduled to be done a month ago but I just kept on delaying.
And it was so coincidence, someone liked my previous theme and hence, I sold it as it is. Let’s called it a premade theme?

Current theme.
I shall say thank you so much to my superman who made this theme alive. I designed, he listened and did his best to code this theme out according to my likeness. After this, I might design a promotional products for myself.
Anyway, here’s a few changes that I’ve done for the current theme:
1. I had a new girl’s illustration (that is oh-so-me) for my header.
The Bob hair, the red bandana, the pink shirt, the Dell computer, the yellow cup, the red chair, the black mouse, that’s me and my working space at home.
2. My layout was ‘slimmed’ down, from 3 columns to 2 columns. I found it is enough for now. The overall layout is based on SimplyWP layout.
3. Notice the tabbed sidebar? I want it cause it saves space. At some point, it might look a bit weird, especially if you click on the archive and links, but whatever. The boyfriend has done his best in coding it out like what I want.
4. I have updated my links and about page.
5. I have added the contact form. You can say Hi to me but don’t spam please.
6. I have changed the blog’s description from ‘chat over a cup of tea’ to ‘life of a freelance designer’; merely because that’s best describe me and my blog. This is my lounge where I talk and rant about my freelance life.
If you like this theme and would like to have something like this for your WordPress blog, feel free to contact me for a custom-made theme.
If you haven’t know, I own a WordPress theme design blog with the boyfriend at SimplyWP. Most of the time I design (for the girlie themes) and he codes. Perfect combination eh?
Wonder why the name is SimplyWP? It goes like this: more than 2 months ago, we thought of creating a blog that will offer free WordPress theme, custom made theme and web-development’s articles. Since it’s all about WordPress, we gave the name SimplyWP, stands for Simply WordPress. Translated: merely/only WordPress. We are not good in naming.
We have 6 WordPress themes released for free and started to receive custom-made themes too.
The first premade + custom made theme was based on my current theme for Sasha at My Own Utopia. She contacted us again for the 2nd theme. This time it’s for Sasha Says. The girl image is an original artwork of chihhang.

Next theme is made for seashorebeachcottage – A Life to remember.

Recently, we just finished two themes; one is to welcome autumn – for not so newlywed, the other one is for travel and photography blog – The journey.

You can view the details of the above work in SimplyWP.
I’m working on my own theme at the moment. Still have the pinkie atmosphere.
So, if your blog is using WordPress and you want to have a re-design, do feel free to contact me at SimplyWP. No worry, the price is reasonable and affordable. I won’t charge $500++ or $1,000 for a theme.
